I use a combined psychotherapy and coaching model.  I work with you to determine where you are now, where you want to be, different ways to move forward, and techniques to help you succeed in your goals.  It is important to identify and acknowledge situations in the past that affect your life today, but it is also very important to see how you can best move forward from today and from that past, and what the steps are that you can take to get to your future.

I have over 30 years of holistic and alternative healing studies and practice and I bring that to the therapeutic setting. I have an office at The Center for Progressive Therapies in the historic district of Manchester, CT. This is a lovely location with ample off-street parking and a very healing and calm atmosphere.

I am a graduate of the University of Connecticut and Capella University. After completing my internship at Hartford Behavioral Health, Hartford’s top public clinic, I opened a private psychotherapy practice in 2004.

I spent over 30 years in the IT sector as a computer consultant and chose to pursue counseling as the desire to help called to me. I appreciate the experiences I gathered up in that environment for all those years because those experiences have proven to be invaluable to me in my work as a therapist.

I live in East Hartford with my adult son and a varying number of dogs. One of my children attended a state university and one was distance educated. Different people flourish in different environments. I am also proud to be a foster home for the Connecticut Humane Society.

I am a past president and current webmaster of the Astrological Society of CT. Studying the cycles of the planets in relationship to human life cycles and the archetypal nature of the planets and zodiacal signs has provided me with an additional knowledge set which serves me well in my work.

I am a board member for Center for Progressive Therapies, a community non-profit wellness center.
